The Nativity 2019 is marked with stamps of two values and different designs as well as a booklet containing two of each stamp. The stamp designs are based upon late 13th-century mosaics in Rome's 4th-century Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere by Pietro Cavallini (1259-ca. 1330). The E1.10 stamp depicts the Annunciation while the Nativity is shown on the E1.15 value. The booklet cover displays Cavallini's Adoration of the Magi. The stamps are printed in sheets of ten.
