Daniala Longo reproduced the four postal cards which commemorate the 85th anniversary of Vatican City State from a painting in the Sala Marconi of Vatican Radio. The cover for the postcards features the map of the Vatican City State. The postal indicia displays the papal flag of the Vatican State. The €0,70 postcard depicts Pope Pius XI and Pius XII; Pope John XXIII and Pope Paul V appear on the €0,85 postcard; the €2,00 card has the images of Pope John Paul I and Pope John Paul I; Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis are depicted on the €2,50 postcard. The eight popes represented are those who have reigned since the establishment of Vatican City State through the Lateran Treaties of 1929.
