A new feature was added to the VPS website – ‘Member to Member Contact’. Member to Member Contact will allow you to develop a dialogue with other members about your Vatican collection. Member contact by telephone or by email can lead to an invaluable exchange of ideas, discussions that may benefit each other’s collecting habits, trading or buying/selling duplicate items from a collection. The benefits of communicating with other VPS members are endless. To begin this program, we need to obtain each member's collecting interest: 1. Go to the Member Screen. 2. Click ‘Membership’ on the Gold Bar. 3. Click ‘Update Address’. 4. Update any missing or incorrect information, especially ‘My Collecting Interest’. This member information can be modified at any time. 5. Participation in this website feature is totally voluntary! Click ‘Yes, please’ next to the line ‘List my name on the member to member contact page’ if you choose to participate. Click ‘No thanks’ if you choose to not have your name listed in the ‘Member to Member Contact Information’. 6. Click ‘Update’ to update your information. 7. When you are done, Click ‘Return To Members Page’ You have completed the update process. To view the ‘Member to Member Contact Information’: 1. Go to the Member Screen. 2. Click ‘Membership’ on the Gold Bar. 3. Click ‘Member Contacts’. You will see a list of all the members who have agreed to participate. Review a 'Collecting Interest' that appeals to you and initiate contact with that member or members. Keep in mind that we are just beginning to collect member interest information. Thus, it may be necessary for you to revisit this page periodically for new member entries. 4. You have the option on this screen to go back and update any of your information by Clicking ‘Click here’ in the upper right. You now have the capability to contact any of the other members who chose to participate in the ‘Member to Member Contact’ program. (1) Only VPS members who choose to participate in the program are able to access the ‘Member to Member Contact Information’. (2) VPS members who choose not to participate in the program are not able to access the ‘Member to Member Contact Information’. (3) Non-members are not able to access the ‘Member to Member Contact Information’. |
