VPS Website Wins APS Star Route Award

This week the American Philatelic Society (APS) announced the winners of its annual Star Route Awards. There are two Star Route Award categories: one highlights stamp club newsletters, and the other focuses on the websites of member societies and clubs. The VPS submitted a nomination to consider the Society’s website for recognition (societies are not eligible for the Star Route Award in the Newsletter category). As a result of our submission, the VPS Website was recognized with a Large Vermeil Award. The Website Team is proud to be the recipient of this Award. We continue to work on our goals of improving the website, providing current and interesting content to our members, as well as using the website a means of 'getting the word out' to non-members by giving them a preview of what the Society can provide them. We welcome feedback from all our members.
