The Pantheon in Rome has huge columns, eight in the first rank and two groups of four behind. Inside is a coffered concrete dome, with a central oculus that opens to the sky. The height to the oculus and the diameter of the interior circle are both 43 meters. Once a pagan temple, the building became a church in the 7th century dedicated to the Virgin Mary and Roman martyrs. Inside you can find Raphael's tomb. The back of the postcard has some nice Conciliation stamps showing the Papal Arms. The postmarks are and dated 01/02/1930 and are very illegible but probably are one of the first four handstamp types (I-1, I-2, I-3, or I-4). It is hard to tell without getting a verifiable count of the lines in both the upper and lower moons.
