The VPS Website Team has received some inquiries regarding access to the Commercializzazione Filatelica e Numismatica (CFN) website (https://www.cfn.va/en/). Currently, there is no access to account records, and customers cannot order stamps (or coins). The following two messages are displayed at the website homepage: ---------- THE CFN IS RENEWED We are undergoing a major renewal of our activities, as well as a review of the processes for acquiring personal data, also in compliance with the provisions of Decree No. DCLVII of 4/30/2024 on the protection of personal data. Sales will resume as soon as possible, we apologize for the wait. CFN IS CHANGING In compliance with the provisions of Decree No. DCLVII of 4/30/2024 on the protection of personal data, significant renewals in our client services are underway, including new procedures for acquiring personal information. Sales will resume as soon as possible. We apologize for the temporary stay. ---------- VPS Webmaster Marvin Lanahan contacted CFN for some clarification, and received the following response: “Dear Marvin, As you read on our website we are renewing our client services and updating all procedures for acquiring personal information. For a while, sales will be suspended; however philatelic and numismatic issues will continue as scheduled. In order to accomplish this important activity in the shortest time possible we will contact every customer registered in our database, request the confirmation of all details registered and insert them in our new system. After that it will be possible to resume all sales activities. For any further information do not hesitate to contact us.
